One of my favourite trails in Whistler. It's a bit of a pedal to get to the top, but just like with backcountry skiing, to get to the good spots you have to earn your turns.

Ixtapa Mexico

Right after new year's in 2011 we went to Ixtapa Mexico for a one week vacation. I can't thank my parents enough for sending us on this trip as a gift for my 30th birthday, we had an amazing time including this night out under the stars.

Born June 9th 1980, I am now 32 years old and loving life as much as ever, thanks in large part to my amazing wife of one year. I’m not the type of person to sit around and get bored. I always seem to have something on the go whether it be riding nearby trails, working on my apartment, learning a new guitar song, fiddling with the latest electronics, building random web pages or planning our next big adventure.

Hobbies & Interests

Sports and recreation have always been a large part of my life. I enjoy a wide range of casual and competitive physical activity, these days dominated mostly by mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. There really isn’t a sport that I don’t enjoy. I’m an avid fan of technology and amongst friends and family I’m often the go to person for anything related to pc, mobile, and tech. When it comes to cuisine I love to try out new things and experience amazing flavours.

Where I Live

I recently moved south from Whistler down to Squamish, BC. I grew up all my life in the greater Vancouver area so it is nice to be close to family and friends I have known all my life. I feel pretty lucky to live in such an amazing part of the world. I’ve travelled around enough to know that there aren’t too many places that can compare. Squamish has a lot to offer and is a great half way point between the big city and the big mountain.

My Career

I have been working in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) since I completed my post secondary education in 2004. GIS requires a level of logic and problem solving that I love and I feel comes naturally to me. The combination of cool technology, computer science and aesthetic deliverables really makes my work enjoyable for me. I look forward to further advancing my career in GIS and growing as a professional.
